Artist's Comments

The legendary and elusive Blue-Eyed Bombus, the result of a union between a dragon and a bumblebee. How did they accomplish this feat? You don't want to know.

Bombus is Latin for buzzing or humming, and is the genus to which bumblebees belong.

Wire and foil armature, polymer clay and some touches of acrylic paint on the wings and face.
